Enrichment is the core of Anglera. It automatically fills in missing product data by searching the web and using AI to extract relevant information based on your attribute prompts.

Understanding Product Status

Every product in your sheet has a status that indicates where it is in the enrichment process:
StatusMeaning
DRAFTProduct has not been enriched yet
QUEUEDProduct is waiting to be processed
PROCESSINGProduct is currently being enriched
READYEnrichment completed successfully
NOT FOUNDNo results found online for this product
Status badges appear in the grid next to each product, giving you an at-a-glance view of your enrichment progress.

Enriching Products

Select Products

Before enriching, select the products you want to process:
  • Individual selection: Click the checkbox next to each product row
  • Select all visible: Click the checkbox in the header row
  • Select by status: Use filters to show only DRAFT or ERROR products, then select all
You can enrich products that are already READY—this will re-run enrichment and may update values if new information is found.

Start Enrichment

  1. With products selected, click the Enrich button in the toolbar
  2. Review the confirmation modal showing how many products will be enriched
  3. Click Enrich to start processing

Cell-Level Enrichment

You can also enrich individual cells instead of entire products:
  1. Right-click on a specific cell in the grid
  2. Select Enrich Cell from the context menu
  3. Optionally add additional instructions for this specific enrichment
  4. Click Enrich
This is useful when you want to:
  • Re-run enrichment for a single attribute
  • Provide specific guidance for a tricky value
  • Test prompt changes on individual cells

Monitoring Progress

Real-Time Updates

Enrichment runs in the background, and the grid updates in real-time as products are processed:
  • Status badges change from QUEUED → PROCESSING → READY
  • Cell values appear as they are enriched
  • Enriched cells are highlighted with a subtle background color
You can continue working, navigate to other pages, or even close your browser. Enrichment will continue processing on the server.

Progress Notifications

A toast notification appears when enrichment starts, showing:
  • Number of products being processed
  • Link to view the enrichment queue
When enrichment completes, you’ll see a success notification.

Handling “Not Found” Products

If a product shows NOT FOUND status, it means the web search couldn’t find relevant information online. This commonly happens when:
  • The product name or SKU is too generic
  • The product is new or not widely listed online
  • Search sites don’t have this product in their catalog

Improving Results

  1. Adjust the search query in Web Search Settings to include more specific identifiers (SKU, model number, manufacturer)
  2. Add manufacturer websites to the include list for direct sourcing
  3. Check the product name — ensure it’s accurate and specific enough to find online

Retrying Products

  1. Filter the grid to show only NOT FOUND products
  2. Select the products you want to retry
  3. Click Enrich to re-queue them with updated settings
Before retrying, adjust your web search configuration. Adding the manufacturer’s website or including the SKU in the search query often helps find products that were initially not found.

Adding a Source URL Directly

If you have a specific product page URL, you can add it directly:
  1. Double-click the product row to open the detail view
  2. Scroll down to the Metadata section
  3. Click + Add Source URL
  4. Paste the product page URL and confirm
  5. Re-run enrichment—Anglera will use this URL as the primary source

Canceling Enrichment

If you need to stop an in-progress enrichment:
  1. Click the Cancel button that appears in the toolbar during enrichment
  2. Products that are QUEUED will be canceled
  3. Products already PROCESSING will complete their current enrichment
Canceled products return to DRAFT status and can be enriched again later.

Best Practices

Batch Size

  • Start with a small batch (10-20 products) to verify your attribute prompts are working correctly
  • Once satisfied, enrich larger batches
  • Very large batches (1000+ products) may take longer but will complete reliably

Attribute Setup

Good enrichment results depend on well-configured attributes:
  • Write clear, specific prompts for each attribute
  • Use the Prompt Optimizer to refine your prompts
  • Set appropriate attribute types (Text, Number, Dropdown, etc.)

Web Search Configuration

Optimize your results by configuring Web Search Settings:
  • Add manufacturer or brand websites to the include list
  • Exclude irrelevant sites (marketplaces, forums)
  • Adjust the search query to include relevant identifiers (SKU, model number)
